Plant and Build Volunteer Day
Garden & Planting Activities—Help us create thriving home gardens for local families:
Transport soil (loading bags into wheelbarrows and delivering to homes)
Deliver vegetable and flower seedlings to homes
Spread soil, plant seedlings and then water
Assist with building raised garden beds (if needed)
Clean up yard debris
Construction Activities—We’ll also be working on recently completed homes:
Frame and build decks and a front porch
Lay decking boards
Dig a trench for drainage
Install a French drain (grate + gravel)
Shovel and move gravel
